Hi, my name is Monika, and I would love the opportunity to be of service to you. I grew up in Toronto, Ontario and, like most of us, had a very challenging childhood. I was an only child. My upbringing was based on stoic, European, war-torn principles. Somehow, by the age of 8 I came to believe in Angels. On my way to and from school, there was a house that I believed belonged to angels and, when no one was looking, I would kneel and pray in front of that house for help. This tells me now that I knew at a young age there was something out there that I couldn’t visually see and I thought was love. My most treasured place of solace was at a cottage where we spent every weekend in the summertime, which is why I now live in an area in the West Kootenays surrounded by trees and nature. That cottage forever imprinted in me a love of the natural outdoors … even now it brings a smile to me remembering those magical times. Looking back there were various situations where I would help other living beings, whether humankind, animal, bird, etc. and quite often at my own expense. I ended up with over 45 years of healing experience, whether my own or in service to those around me … women and children fleeing abusive situations, addicts, etc. I have come to appreciate all my experiences from the day I was born because it has brought me to where I am now … able to give the gift of healing.
